The Hay River Transition Initiative is a group of friends and neighbors in West Central Wisconsin who are developing a community-wide movement following the Transition Town model.

HRTI is open to everyone in the community, and depends on community participation. If you are interested in joining us, read up on Transition, contact a coordinator, and jump in with your ideas!

Plant Swap 2010 Folks gathered up their extra plants and spare seeds and brought them to Pioneer Park in Prairie Farm on Saturday, June 5th. A free plant swap was be held from 1 to 3 pm in the picnic shelter. As you can see there was a wonderful selection.
