Introduction to Spinning Fiber

The Hay River Transition Initiative is offering an Introduction to Spinning Fiber, Saturday, June 25 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.  It will be held an Nancy Frank's Opportunity Llamas Farm, 3602 1450th Avenue, about 2 miles south of Prairie Farm.  The class will be taught by Becky Montgomery, and will include demo and hands-on experience with a drop spindle and a spinning wheel.  The fee for the class will be $5.  Llama and sheep wool rovings (carded balls of wool) will be available for sale.  Contact Nancy Frank oppty@mac.com for registration.  Class size is limited.
